The 10D or Inkognito subwoofer?
Below is a bit of information that might help you choose.
- The sound quality is the same with both.
- While the 10D is compact with a traditional shape, the Inkognito has a "pizza box" shape. It can be placed either horizontal on the floor, or vertically against a wall. It even supports on-wall installation.
- You can enjoy high playback levels even with the Inkognito. For larger rooms, note that the 10D can play significantly louder than the Inkognito.
- Inkognito has a single driver. The 10D on the other hand has dual drivers in a dual opposing configuration, eliminating cabinet vibrations.
How many subwoofers?
A single subwoofer
While one subwoofer may work well, if you have the space we always recommend dual subwoofers. Remember, you can always start with one and expand later!
Dual subwoofers (recommended)
Two subwoofers will give you twice the capacity and a smoother and more even bass response. Two subwoofers is plenty in most situations.
Multiple subwoofers
Do you have a large room, want the flattest and smoothest response possible in a large area, and/or want to play really loud? Then four or more subs can be the way to go. Some of our customers employing Trinnov Waveforming have as many as eight (8) subs!
